I bring that spirit with me everytime I pick up my camera. I feel it is an honor and a privilege to do what I do, to help create memories that last a lifetime.

What can you say about these girls…..GORGEOUS !!!!

January 9, 2010 - 7:46 pm - almost made me think for a second that this was the weather in Ohio... one can only dream, especially with such nice photos:-)
I had such a great time with this family…all the kids had their own unique personalities that really came through during the shoot. There were so many to pick from, but I will stay with my “family shots only” rule for the week….

and I must of said something really funny…….
This is my second year shooting these adorable kids, the cuteness factor runs very high in this family…….
so sweet……

so calm…..

and were done……

I could not choose my favorite between the kids and the family…so I just had to show both…….

One of the things I love about this family (besides they are all just gorgeous) is they have so much fun and love for each other when they are together! I could not pick just one from their amazing session, so I had to choose three……

Let’s start off the New Year with a group of really good looking boys…there parents are in so much trouble!!!! They had to turn in their phones to me and just stop texting for 5 minutes…I shot fast, and they went back to their lives…..

I can’t believe this year is coming to an end, and I can’t believe how long it has been since I Blogged !!!! So unlike me
It has been an amazing year for me professionally as well as personally. I am so excited to look to the future and dream of what it has in store for me!
There are some exciting changes being made at happygirlphotography for the New Year, and I can’t wait to share them with all of you! Tomorrow I will begin having a little fun and posting some of my favorite family shots from 2009….I never want to ruin anyone’s Christmas card, but there are just some amazing family shots filled with love and laughter that I can’t wait to share! Thank you all so much for for being a part of happygirlphotography this year…I feel I am the luckiest person in the world to be able to do what I love everyday !!!
Here is a little fun to end the year with….a few comic strips that I love …..yes, they do have photography comic strips..who knew? Have a wonderful New Years Eve…I can’t wait to see you next year! Alison

Let me start by saying what an amazing holiday shooting season this has been. I have had the honor to shoot so many kind and beautiful family’s in the last few months, it reminds me everyday that I do have the best job in the world! These kids were no exception, how wonderful they were to work with, so easy going, just a dream! Though I usually show color when I post on my blog, because let’s face it…I LOVE COLOR..sometimes black and white is still the way to go. I think in the next few weeks I may post some of my favorite shots of the year…in black and white…I know, I know, I am really getting out of the box now ! Here are a few fun shots from our shoot, what do you think, color…black and white….you be the judge!

When this lovely Mom phoned me about shooting her adorable girls before her oldest is off to college next year, I could not have been more thrilled! Then when I learned it was a birthday present for their Dad, it just made the whole shoot come together for me.I feel there is no greater gift you can give then the gift of memories. Images, whether they come from your point and shoot or from a professional photographer, are the one gift you can give this holiday season that will last a lifetime. When I look back at the images of my own children, how I wish I had so many more then I do, they are growing so fast…..don’t miss out on documenting this time in your children’s lives, it will be gone before you know it ………
Here are a few that caught my eye…..
