I am so excited to have chosen my MARIEMONT HIGH SCHOOL SENIOR REP for the graduating class of 2011! She is so adorable and I knew she would be perfect! I think I will keep her name a secret until after our modeling shoot…but check back mid-April to find out who was chosen!
I am still accepting applications for the following schools

Some of the many perks of being a senior rep are :
a 3 hour complimentary session at multiple locations
50% discounts on all prints and products
the opportunity to earn hundreds of dollars in gift cards from your favorite stores
your images used on marketing materials, websites, blogs, as well as free images for your facebook page
If you are a junior at any of the high schools listed above and think you have that “something special” to be the face of happygirlphotography, please email me at Alison@happygirlphotography.com I would love to hear from you!
I am guilty of it too…I meant to have my family photographed….. but I didn’t like my daughters haircut or someone lost a tooth or I was too busy or I felt like I needed to lose 5 lbs or the weather wasn’t perfect….I have said every one of those excuses to myself…and I am a photographer…I am supposed to “get it”. When I photographed Mia last week and realized a year had flown by since I photographed her as a newborn, I could not believe it! A whole year…how could that be? So I decided to look around my house I count how many pictures were displayed with both my daughters and I in it, well, it was not hard to count all the way to one! How could there be only one? Ok, yes I take all the pictures, but seriously! My youngest daughter was bored this weekend and counted how many pictures I had displayed in our house….87..(ok, even I can admit that is a bit excessive) but there was only one image with both of my girls and I in it, that is wrong, and that is going to change!
I, Alison Connor, promise to have my my girls and I professionally photographed every year until my first born goes off to college….in four years! Again…how did that happen! She was just going off to pre-school and having playdates and now she is slamming doors…ok, that is a separate post! Don’t let time pass you by….
This was Mia one year ago……..

And this is Mia now….what can I say besides…SHE IS ADORABLE!!!!!! Happy Birthday Mia!

I am so excited to be in the running to win a seat and the AMAZING Julie Parker workshop in Utah next month!

THANK YOU…THANK YOU…THANK YOU…
What can you say about these girls…..GORGEOUS !!!!

I had such a great time with this family…all the kids had their own unique personalities that really came through during the shoot. There were so many to pick from, but I will stay with my “family shots only” rule for the week….

and I must of said something really funny…….
This is my second year shooting these adorable kids, the cuteness factor runs very high in this family…….
so sweet……

so calm…..

and were done……

I could not choose my favorite between the kids and the family…so I just had to show both…….

One of the things I love about this family (besides they are all just gorgeous) is they have so much fun and love for each other when they are together! I could not pick just one from their amazing session, so I had to choose three……

Let’s start off the New Year with a group of really good looking boys…there parents are in so much trouble!!!! They had to turn in their phones to me and just stop texting for 5 minutes…I shot fast, and they went back to their lives…..

I can’t believe this year is coming to an end, and I can’t believe how long it has been since I Blogged !!!! So unlike me
It has been an amazing year for me professionally as well as personally. I am so excited to look to the future and dream of what it has in store for me!
There are some exciting changes being made at happygirlphotography for the New Year, and I can’t wait to share them with all of you! Tomorrow I will begin having a little fun and posting some of my favorite family shots from 2009….I never want to ruin anyone’s Christmas card, but there are just some amazing family shots filled with love and laughter that I can’t wait to share! Thank you all so much for for being a part of happygirlphotography this year…I feel I am the luckiest person in the world to be able to do what I love everyday !!!
Here is a little fun to end the year with….a few comic strips that I love …..yes, they do have photography comic strips..who knew? Have a wonderful New Years Eve…I can’t wait to see you next year! Alison
