This adorable family could not have been more sweet! The evening was a little warm…and sticky…did I mention it was warm…..Everyone just went with the flow (which I love in a family) and we just followed Owen’s lead, since after a few minutes we all realized he was driving this train…and when you look like that with those big blue eye’s…I would expect nothing less!
Here are a few things I learned while spending time with my new friend Owen…….
Owen likes to giggle……
Owen loves his Mama…..
and his Daddy………

and knows exactly how to position himself in a family photo……LOVE IT!
There are so many different ways to present the products photographers offer, my inbox is constantly overflowing with email’s from company’s with the best this and that…try our processing, try our canvas, try our packaging. I try to be very loyal to the vendors that I work with…they are simply the best! The company I use to process my images was the first company I ever sent an image to. My canvas’s….the same. Reason being that quality is so important to me and should be expected from my clients…I have heard over and over that receiving images from happygirlphotography is like opening a present at Christmas. Now I believe in being GREEN…everything is now done online…my booking forms, invoices, pricing pdf’s……but when it comes to the presentation….I have to give a little BLING! I knew I wanted to find a new way to present my digital file collections this year, it is my #1 selling item and the black leather box was just not making the cut……so here is my solution…..let me say that I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE THESE!!!!!!!

Whether you purchase our 5 image, 10 image, or complete digital collection, they will be presented in this beautiful image box with your disk, along with 5×7 prints of each image for a reference point for future re-printing.
Next week I will give you a peek at some AMAZING 20×30 canvas’s that just came in

This adorable family was moving the very same day of our shoot, but really wanted to document their life in Ohio before they were off on their new adventure!
They were all such good sports through the entire shoot (and anyone who has moved knows how hard moving day can be) We got some amazing images…I can’t wait to edit the rest…….

I am SO excited that Gretchen is my Rep for Cincinnati Country Day School! She is just GORGEOUS and was so fun to work with! Now, before you think that happygirlphotography has invested in a wind machine, let me say it was just SO windy that day, but I love what a little wind can do to an image! Gretchen can tell you all about her shoot, and be sure to ask for a Rep card from Gretchen for your free set of wallets….here is a little preview, like I said….GORGEOUS!

I was so excited to shoot my first Senior Rep of the “Senior Season”. Emmie was so adorable inside and out, we just had a blast! We shot in SO many different locations, and she had the perfect outfit for all of them!
Emmie will be the “face” of happygirlphotography at Mariemont High School this year, so please feel free to ask her any questions you may have about her shoot, the way we work, or just how in the world does she have such FLAWLESS skin!
Be sure to ask Emmie for one of our Rep cards and mention her name on our booking form to receive a free set of wallets with your order
I will be posting an amazing slideshow of the entire shoot in the next few weeks, but here is a sneak peek of things to come……

Great light… great kids… = great session! These boys were so fun and outgoing, I could have shot them all day long! They were troopers the whole time, they just made my job so easy!!!! There were a few things I learned about them along the way….
THEY ARE JUST ADORABLE

THEY LOVE EACH OTHER

THEY LOVE THEIR MAMA

AND THEY LOVE FOOTBALL!

I can’t wait to show their Mom the rest of the images…so much more to come
From our first phone call I knew this family would be a dream to photograph. They were so warm and welcoming, the love they have for each other just shines through in every image. The parents were so adorable together, they were like newlyweds! I just loved the contemporary feel of shooting around Mount Adams, I think it has become my new favorite location! But let’s be clear that the real star of the day was “Stuart the dog”…. he loved being in every shot! I can’t wait to edit the entire shoot, but here are a few that caught my eye…..

The pressure is on for day five, this one actually does reflect a little on myself since the people who are close to me in my life know that I am HORRIBLE at remembering peoples names, to the point that a friend re-introduced me to someone and said to her “I would tell Alison your name but she would never remember it anyway”….ouch! This quote is true in any aspect of your life…not just names…..be real, be authentic, live your life with truth and integrity…
If you tell the truth you don’t have to remember anything - Mark Twain
This is one of those quotes that just makes you smile, of course this would never cross my mind in a million years unless to try to cross me because life is about love, happiness and forgiveness………
A FRIEND WILL ASK YOU WHY YOU ARE CRYING….A GOOD FRIEND WILL ASK WHO MADE YOU CRY WHILE LOADING A SHOTGUN….A TRUE FRIEND WILL JUST INFORM YOU THAT IT HAS ALREADY BEEN DEALT WITH!
HAPPY WEDNESDAY!
